This work explores the confusing and obscure public
memory of images from the visual form, resets the
original images-the habitual urban landscape, to
confuse the audience, and at the same time uses
private materials-full of innocence and warmth to
enhance the overall sense of conflict.
Home decoration full of security actually points to the
fear of unknown disasters (earthquakes). These
materials are warm and lovely, but also fragile and will
disappear at any time.
I deliberately placed the architectural landscape by
mistake, releasing "unsafe" information in an unobvious
way, and at the same time widening the distance
between the virtual landscape and the real landscape. I
hope the audience will realize that this is far away.
For me, this is a work full of questions. Can the distant
public memory full of pain be reproduced? Is recreating
it in another unfamiliar context a deliberate duplication
of wonders?
