Jiawei Zheng (b.1998, China) is a Copenhagen based artist, she graduated from China Academy of Art (BA) and holds an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Identifying as an incubator for synthetics, Jiawei channels her creative energies into a multifaceted exploration of collective experience. From narrative experimental film to collage video, installation, and text, she traverses an array of mediums with a fluidity that mirrors the fluidity of memory itself. Each piece serves as a portal, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of re-imaginary, where the boundaries between past and present, truth and fiction, seamlessly intertwine and fade away.

Jiawei also works as part of Tofu Collective, a Copenhagen-based art association devoted to promoting Sinophone(Chinese-speaking regions) contemporary art.
